Cell Services (Pvt) Ltd is a wholly owned Zimbabwean company formed in 1997 to exploit opportunities arising in the massive expansion of the Information and Communication Technology sector in Zimbabwe and the world over.

We have entered into dealership agreements with major mobile phone brands namely Samsung, Huawei, Zte, Nokia and we also resell Apple products.  We emphasize on distributing only original products. Because of this, we have created a name for ourselves.

Cell Services P/L is an Econet Wireless franchise business whose main purpose is to provide Econet Wireless Customers with Bill Payments Service, Ecocash Services, New Buddie Lines and Sim Replacement Services, Airtime Wholesaling, Mobile Phone Devices sales

The company has established a robust branch networked across the country which is fully equipped with adequate infrastructure and human resource.

Our clients are Econet Wireless customers who come to access the above stated products and services.

Across Zimbabwe Econet Wireless products have seen an explosion in the last ten years with an estimated 8 million registered mobile lines subscribers and 3.5 million Ecocash registered users.

Cell Services P/L as an Econet Wireless franchisee business is strategically positioned to benefit from the critical mass of Econet Wireless.

Besides Cell Services P/L they are a number of franchisee under Econet Wireless Zimbabwe but the franchisee are structured in such a way that there is no direct competition.

Cell Services’ marketing strategy emphasizes consistent quality of customer service.

All services are provided by Client Consultants knowledgeable in Econet Wireless products. These Client Consultants are marketing people who are then trained in customer service as spelled out in the Econet Customer Service Charter.

The management of Cell Services P/L consists of Obson Mapiye and Lucia Mapiye. The two directors have extensive experience in sales and marketing of Econet Products having operated the franchisee business since 1997. Both Directors take hands-on management roles in the company.

  1. PRODUCT(S) SERVICES & PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Our Products mainly are;

ECONET CUSTOMER BILL PAYMENTS,

Customers who have accessed Econet products under credit facility pay their accounts though our branches. This includes customers who are on contract accounts who pay off their monthly accounts.

 

SIM PACKS

Under this we revenue head we register new lines to end user customers. We also replace lost lines or fault lines

 

ECOCASH

This is a mobile banking facility whereby customers registered on the Ecocash platform come to deposit and withdraw money.

 

DEVICES

Under this product we sale mobile phone devices and accessories

 

AIRTIME SALES

On Bulk Airtime we wholesale airtime to prepaid airtime to airtime vendors

At Cell Services P/L we have built successful teams at each branch to ensure excellent delivery service to customers.

Our teams are led by a Branch Supervisor and the team’s key responsibility is to ensure that each team member is fully switched to the team’s objectives and actions plans by encouraging the following;

  • The team leader builds trust among team members by getting team members to open up (among the team) and expose their weaknesses and fears to each other
  • The Team Leaders encourages members to engage in debate around ideas so as to get the best out of the team.
  • Team Members are encouraged to commit to decisions and plans of action to ensure consistent performance.
  • The team holds one another accountable against their plans to ensure that bottlenecks are overcome on time.
